One of the really big advantages of living outside of London is that I can suddenly reach the rest of England. So last Saturday I ended up in Cambridge. Towards late afternoon, after having spent hours wandering around in the sunshine and all the shops we were both rather tired and hungry. Now, it's not particularly easy finding food for me but, at the farthest end of the smallest alley in all of Cambridge you find the Rainbow Cafe. Vegetarian restaurant with both gluten free and lactose free options on the menu. The service could have been a tad less abrupt but the food was fantastic and it was a pleasure not to have to discuss with the waiter what I could have off the menu.
